Cincinnati, OH – When Florida Atlantic University christened their new 30,000 seat football stadium this season, they outfitted it with decorative yet durable metal waste and recycling containers from Witt Industries. The University recently took delivery of 78 waste and 38 recycling containers which are designed to complement the décor of the new $62 million facility on the Boca Raton campus. Combining aesthetics with functionality, the custom containers feature the FAU and Owl mascot logos on the receptacles which are powder coated to match the university’s color scheme. The receptacles are enhanced with protective coated bases to add durability and protect the stadium concrete.
“We are very pleased with the appearance of the trash and recycling cans,” said John Singer, LEED-AP, Director, Physical Plant at Florida Atlantic University.
“We’re excited to be a part of the new tradition of on-campus football at FAU,” said John Winfield, National Sales Manager. “This is a gorgeous facility, and we’re happy to help them keep it clean.”
